Yes. The pricing on rentmoney.com is updated very frequently and usually represents the very best price possible. Some specials like "Look and Lease" may not yet be included in the rent shown, since they only apply if you look and lease in the time specified by the apartment.
| |
There are many apartments that offer specials like first month free. Most free rent offers are prorated over the term of your lease. A few offers may give you a choice of having the free rent amount prorated or offered “up front,” meaning you may be able to choose your free month or it may be credited to your first full month of rent. All the specials listed on rentmoney are up to date and the rent displayed usually includes the special.

To look at apartments, all you will need is your government-issued ID. To reserve an apartment, you will have to leave a deposit, so it’s a good idea to take a checkbook and/or money order with you. To apply, the apartment will often require more information such as bank statements, paycheck stubs, rental history, etc.

Every apartment community is different. Usually, the rule is two pets per apartment, but some take more or less. Typically, you would pay a deposit/fee per pet. A pet deposit is normally refundable while a pet fee is not. Some apartments charge a non-negotiable pet rent in the range of $10 to $50 per month as part of your rent. If you can’t afford the pet deposit or fee up front, some communities are willing to break it up into payments or assess it in the form of pet rent. It never hurts to ask what their payment plans are.
| |
Every apartment community has different requirements. Making 3 times the monthly rent is a good rule of thumb.
| |
All the apartment communities look for different stuff. Usually it’s a combination of your job, rental history and credit.

Every apartment community is different. Sometimes they can approve you on the spot, other times it can take 4 or 5 days or even longer.
| |
Some apartment communities can get you moved in the same day, other times it can take up to 10 days. It will depend on whether or not they have vacant units currently and whether or not those units are move in ready. Contact the specific apartment community for more information on the availability of apartments.

Every apartment community is different. They all have different policies. Contact the leasing office to get more details on the application process.

Every situation is unique. There is almost always an apartment community that will be able to work with you. It’s always best to be upfront with the leasing agent and they will be able to tell you the credit guidelines for their individual property.
| |
It depends. If your bankruptcy is currently open (not discharged), it is the most challenging. If you have a discharged bankruptcy, there are some apartments that will work with you. Be sure to let the leasing staff know up front about your credit situation and they should be able to advise you. Also, make sure that you have a clear, written understanding of how they will refund any fees you may pay as a part of the application if you are not approved.
| |
At this time we don’t. Please contact your local Housing Authority. They can provide you with lists of apartment communities that accept section 8 vouchers.
