Yes. The pricing on rentmoney.com is updated very frequently and usually represents the very best price possible. Some specials like "Look and Lease" may not yet be included in the rent shown, since they only apply if you look and lease in the time specified by the apartment.
What is the difference between a deposit, an administrative fee and a redecoration fee? Are they refundable? Top ^
These fees are normally collected by the apartment community at the time of your application and are used to hold the apartment until you move in. A deposit is usually refundable when you move out, while administrative and redecoration fees are usually not.
How does the application process work? Top ^
After you decide on an apartment you want to lease, you will submit your application for approval. Make sure you write rentmoney.com on both the application and the guest card to qualify for your cash rebate. Also, be sure you have a clear, written understanding of how much, if any, of the fees you pay will be refunded to you if you are not approved. When you have been approved, come back to rentmoney and click on "Get my cash." It's really that simple!
What do I need to bring with me when I go looking? Top ^
To look at apartments, all you will need is your government-issued ID. To reserve an apartment, you will have to leave a deposit, so it's a good idea to take a checkbook and/or money order with you. To apply, the apartment will often require more information such as bank statements, paycheck stubs, rental history, etc.

Every apartment community is different. Usually, the rule is two pets per apartment, but some take more or less. Typically, you would pay a deposit/fee per pet. A pet deposit is normally refundable while a pet fee is not. Some apartments charge a non-negotiable pet rent in the range of $10 to $50 per month as part of your rent. If you can't afford the pet deposit or fee up front, some communities are willing to break it up into payments or assess it in the form of pet rent. It never hurts to ask what their payment plans are.

Every apartment community is different. Sometimes they can approve you on the spot, other times it can take 4 or 5 days or even longer.

Some apartment communities can get you moved in the same day, other times it can take up to 10 days. It will depend on whether or not they have vacant units currently and whether or not those units are move in ready. Contact the specific apartment community for more information on the availability of apartments.
How do I know if I will get approved? Top ^

I have bad credit. Can you help? Top ^
Every situation is unique. There is almost always an apartment community that will be able to work with you. It's always best to be upfront with the leasing agent and they will be able to tell you the credit guidelines for their individual property.
I have a bankruptcy can you help me? Top ^
It depends. If your bankruptcy is currently open (not discharged), it is the most challenging. If you have a discharged bankruptcy, there are some apartments that will work with you. Be sure to let the leasing staff know up front about your credit situation and they should be able to advise you. Also, make sure that you have a clear, written understanding of how they will refund any fees you may pay as a part of the application if you are not approved.
Do you have any apartments that accept section 8? Top ^
At this time we don't. Please contact your local Housing Authority. They can provide you with lists of apartment communities that accept section 8 vouchers.
Can I get out of my lease? Top ^
Maybe. Almost every time there will be penalties for breaking your lease. Read your lease or contact your leasing office to find out more information before you sign the lease. It is a legally binding agreement.
Do I qualify for cash back if I transfer from one unit to another in the same apartment community? Top ^
No. If you transfer from one apartment unit to another in the same community, they won't pay rentmoney and we can't pay cash back to you.
What is a roommate floorplan? Top ^
A roommate floorplan is one where the bedrooms are not next to each other. They can be on opposite sides of the apartment for maximum privacy.

A studio apartment is one open room (with a closed in bathroom of course!). Your bedroom, kitchen and living room will be in the same room.
What is a townhome, garden or loft? Top ^
A townhome is an apartment that has 2 floors. A garden apartment usually refers to a 1 story apartment. Lofts are floorplans that have 2 floors and the upstairs overlooks the downstairs.
